Get Ready to Play! 🎉

After a restful Sabbath, lace up your sneakers and bring the whole family! Joburg North SDA Church and Newlands SDA Church are teaming up for a morning of games, laughter and fellowship, celebrating God's gift of good health, fresh air and each other's company.

What's on the Programme

• ⚽ Soccer: from grandparents to grandkids, everyone gets a turn on the field
• 🏀 Netball: fast passes, big smiles and plenty of cheering
• 🏃 Kids' field events: sack races, relays and more for our young athletes
• 💦 Water slides: come ready to get wet and cool off!
• 🏰 Jumping castle: bouncing fun for the little ones

More Than a Game

Family Sports Day is about building friendships and strengthening families. We play in a spirit of kindness, encouragement and good sportsmanship: cheering each other on, celebrating every effort, and making sure everyone feels welcome, whatever their age or ability. Fun for all ages!

Healthy, Happy Living 🍎

As Seventh-day Adventists, we believe our bodies are a gift from God, and that exercise, fresh air, sunshine, water and wholesome food are part of His plan for abundant life. Water and healthy snacks will be served throughout the day, so just bring your energy!

What to Bring 🎒

• 👟 Comfortable sports clothes and sneakers
• 🏊 A towel and a change of clothes for the water slides
• 🧢 Sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle
• 🪑 A camp chair or picnic blanket
