Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to some common questions visitors and new members often ask.
What should I wear to church?
We encourage modest, comfortable attire. Some members dress more formally (suits, dresses), while others dress more casually. We want you to feel comfortable and welcome, regardless of what you wear.
What can I expect during a service?
Our services include congregational singing, prayer, Scripture reading, and a sermon based on the Bible. We also have a time for collecting tithes and offerings, though as a visitor you should not feel obligated to give.
Are there programs for children?
Yes! We have Sabbath School classes for all ages, from infants to teens. During the divine service, we provide a children's story time and nursery care for very young children.
Do I need to be a member to participate?
Not at all. Visitors are welcome to participate in all aspects of worship, fellowship, and most church activities. If you're interested in membership later, we offer baptismal classes.
What makes Seventh-day Adventists different?
Adventists observe the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) as a day of rest and worship, emphasize healthful living, and look forward to Christ's soon return. We focus on the whole person—physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Do you have communion services?
Yes, we celebrate the Lord's Supper (communion) once per quarter. It includes footwashing as practiced by Jesus with His disciples. Everyone who has accepted Christ as their Savior is welcome to participate.
